ABOUT HFC

Halal Foundation Center (HFC) is a Hong Kong based Halal certification body serving manufacturers of food, pharmaceuticals, daily-use products, deep-processed goods and meat-derived products. HFC is organised around two functions that work together: a Shariah Committee, made up of qualified Mufti and Islamic scholars, which defines Halal requirements in accordance with Islamic law and rules on questions of Shariah; and a technical team of food engineers, chemical analysts and field auditors, which carries out ingredient assessment, laboratory verification and on-site factory audits. A certificate is issued once both the documentation review and the factory audit have been approved. HFC is an alliance member of the International Halal Integrity Alliance (IHIA) and holds mutual recognition arrangements with Halal authorities in Thailand, South Korea, Pakistan and Greece, among others. HFC certificates are used in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and Asia, as well as Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and every certificate carries its own QR code so that buyers and consumers can verify it at any hour.

清真食品監製中心（Halal Foundation Center，簡稱 HFC）是總部設於香港的清真認證機構，服務對象涵蓋食品、醫藥、日用品、深加工企業以及肉源性產品生產企業。HFC 的組織由兩部分互相配合：一是由具備資格的 Mufti 與伊斯蘭教法學者組成的 Shariah 委員會，依據伊斯蘭教法厘定清真標準，並就教法問題作出裁定；二是由食品工程師、化學分析師與現場審核員組成的技術團隊，負責原料鑒定、實驗室檢測與現場驗廠。企業的申請資料審閱與驗廠審核均通過後，方可獲得清真資質。HFC 為國際清真誠信聯盟（IHIA）成員，並與泰國、韓國、巴基斯坦、希臘等地的清真機構建立互認關係；HFC 證書可在非洲、中東、歐美、亞洲以及中國內地、香港、澳門、臺灣等地區使用，每份證書均附專屬二維碼，供採購方與消費者 24 小時自助查詢核實。
